Daniel Converted to ISLAM .But keep it as a secret for two years !!
But Daniel has left the SVp And made his conversion to Islam public.
Switzerland press said :((( For two years Daneil kept this secret from his ex-party. Now, with the “witch hunt against Islam,” this situation has become unbearable for him.)))
He was a true SVPer and Christian. He read the Bible and regularly went to church. Now Daniel Streich, military instructor and community council member, reads the Qur’an, prays five times a day and goes to a mosque!!!
He said when they asked him Why you took this step??

BUT Reactions in the SVP were mixed.
General Secretary Martin Baltisser.said “Everyone can believe what he wants to,”.
SVP-National Council member Alfred Heer had a less friendly reaction.
Politcal scientist Georg Lutz said : “The SVP and Islam stand closer to each other than people suppose. Both advance a conservative worldview.”
In my opinion Banning a minaret is like banning a church spire or tower. It is incidental to religion
